The Hyundai Ioniq was just recently unveiled this past year at the Geneva Motor Show, but information regarding its UK launch in October is already available. The brand finally revealed Hyundai Ioniq pricing and it’s already available for customers to order. Only the hybrid variant will be available this fall, but the hybrid will be followed by the EV and plug-in hybrid model. Because of this, the Ioniq will famously be the first vehicle on the market to offer three different eco-friendly powertrains.
Upon launching, the Hyundai Ioniq hybrid will start at a base sticker price of 19,995 pounds for the entry-level SE trim. The Premium model will jump to 21,795 pounds and receive added luxuries such as keyless start, a heated steering wheel and seats, Apple CarPlay, as well as satellite navigation, wireless charging, and more. Currently, fuel economy numbers for the Ioniq are unknown, but it’s expected that its efficiency will be competitive with the Toyota Prius.
The Ioniq Electric, when it launches, will be based on the Premium trim, but with added amenities like adaptive cruise control, automatic wipers, and LED headlamps. Hyundai Ioniq pricing for the Electric trim will start from 28,995 pounds. Aside from being more eco-friendly, the Ioniq will have more conventional, modern styling and an all-new platform.
