Jordan Spieth may be the hottest name in golf right now, but here at Riverhead Hyundai, we’re still celebrating a championship from way back in February. That’s when the 2015 Hyundai Tournament of Champions was held in Maui, but we’ve just now gotten the results of the tournament. All in all, the event raised over $340,000 in charity, which will be donated to many worthy organizations.
The money is going to places like the Children’s Justice Center, the Hale Makua Health Services, the Lahainaluna High School Foundation, and much more. The great results have inspired Hyundai to keep the worthwhile competition going, as the Korean automaker has announced it will again host the tournament next January.
Aside from the tournament, the Hyundai Hope on Wheels program has also been raising money for worthy causes, as well. There was a 5K held the same week as the tournament, and the $75,000 raised from race went directly to Hyundai’s Hope on Wheels program.
Come see us here at Riverhead Hyundai to learn more about our brand and our great vehicles today. And get ready for more great golf for a great cause next January!
