As an official sponsor for the National Football League, Hyundai recently helped to support five youth football camps across the United States. Young players in Minneapolis, Pittsburgh, Houston, Miami, and Phoenix were able to participate in fun and exciting camps, learning the fundamentals from some of the best players in the NFL.
According to Hyundai, the Hyundai Youth Football Camp was held throughout July in order to give kids across the US a chance to learn about football techniques and drills. Not only do such camps promote athletic skill, but they also teach kids how to get outdoors and get some exercise. They also promote hard work and endurance, helping youths to learn valuable life lessons.
“At Hyundai, just like at the NFL, loyalty runs deep. We are loyal to our fans by giving them better cars, and through our relationship with the NFL, giving football fans better experiences as well,” said Trea Reedy, senior group manager for experiential marketing at Hyundai. “Through the new Hyundai Youth Football Camps, we are creating an experience that brings NFL fans across the country together for local events that put them closer to the game they love.”
Some of the players that participated include Anthony Barr, DeAngelo Williams, DeAndre Hopkins, DeVante Parker, Patrick Peterson, and Michael Floyd. Hyundai also worked with Hope on Wheels to invite five pediatric cancer survivors to participate in the camp.
