The newest addition to the Hyundai lineup is the Ioniq, which is available as a hybrid, an electric, and a plug-in hybrid. This lineup gives buyers the ability to choose the right powertrain option to fit their needs. However, one thing every Ioniq has in common in the use of a battery, so every Ioniq comes with a Lifetime Battery Failure Warranty.
This warranty will cover a complete failure of the battery. If that does happen, Hyundai will replace the battery for free and will even cover the cost of recycling the old battery as well.
The Ioniq lineup is set to shake up the hybrid/EV market with affordable pricing, stellar design, and an exceptional driving experience, making it appealing for a broad lineup of drivers.
This all-new model lineup was also recognized by the American Council for an Energy-Efficient Economy (ACEEE) as being one of the Greenest Vehicles of 2017. After analyzing the Ioniq’s life-time environmental impact, the Electric model earned a Green Score of 64, which placed it among the top 12 nameplates available to consumers this year.
The 2017 Hyundai Ioniq will initially be available in California, but distribution will grow throughout the year and we can’t wait to see it on our showroom floor here at Riverhead Hyundai.
